Your Opportunity

The role of Intern/Co-op is to work as a team member on small and large projects under the guidance of a Project Supervisor/ Engineer. The Intern/Co-op will work under close supervision of a Project Supervisor/ Engineer to develop skills in engineering services of Rail Transit Control Systems.

An Intern/Co-op will perform a variety of tasks which may include assisting with the development and designs of various product development activities within the Rail Systems team. 

Team is looking for an Intern/Co-op for Fall 2022.

Your Key Responsibilities 

Job responsibilities will involve working closely with engineering staff in the design and development of control and test system hardware and/or software. 

  • Software engineering
  • Swift programing language (iOS or iPadOS development on the XCode platform)
  • Requirement’s analysis
  • Modeling & simulation
  • Data analytics
  • Development of Control APP software
  • Development of test equipment
  • Verification testing on a bench environment

Your Capabilities and Credentials 

We need a candidate who is great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.

  • Minimum requirements are enrolled in in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering with class work in control systems, embedded systems & software, data sciences.
  • Swift programming language ((iOS or iPadOS development on the XCode platform).
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle process.
  • Software hardware integration.
  • Requirements analysis. 
  • Computer networking.
  • Experience and knowledge of basic electronics concepts and circuit design are assets. 

Education and Experience 

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Technical Engineering Program.
