Your Opportunity
Your role will be to provide support activities both clerical and technical in nature as required to assist Construction Managers and other personnel with management duties related to various construction projects for municipal clients in a fast-paced professional, design and delivery environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare bid tabulations
- Collect daily reports from field personnel and enter information into database
- Track change orders, RFI’s and submittal packages
- Review contractor invoices
- Printing, scanning, and photocopying documents
- Filing – electronic and hard copy
- Other miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and to work under time constraints and other stresses
- Must be able to work in a team environment and semi-independently
- Ability to learn new software quickly and take initiative with limited supervision
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite software
- Familiarity with construction processes and communications
Education and Experience
- Minimum High School diploma, associate degree in construction related field desirable
- 3-5 years of experience in an administrative assistant role; construction industry experience preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
