Your Opportunity
Our Tampa office is looking to add a SUE Crew Chief to our dynamic survey team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the field investigation/designation of subsurface utilities to the full and complete satisfaction of Stantec’s clients on private and public sector projects.
- Thorough working knowledge of, and be able to demonstrate expertise in the use of a vacuum excavation units and have a minimum of two years’ experience using ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic signal induction equipment.
- Effectively communicate the results of field investigations to Stantec’s clients (both internal and external) through the documentation of work performed on excavation data sheets and through field notes is required.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Prior to employment, this position will require the successful passing of a pre-employment drug screen.
- Experience with GPR and Land Surveying equipment a plus.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 Years SUE Experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience with a vacuum excavation truck preferred
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
