Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Senior Process Engineer/Business Developer to join our highly successful water practice in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will be a strong “seller/doer” responsible for leading pursuits and delivery of excellent work to our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to undertake design of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
- Undertake industrial wastewater treatment system planning and design. Liaise with clients and other consultants.
- Actively contributes to win strategies and successful project execution and becomes involved at a hands-on level in key pursuits as needed and on projects
- Increases visibility of Stantec by sharing our knowledge and innovation story through key client engagements to enhance our reputation and drive revenue
- Construction / contract administration knowledge.
- Manage and supervise engineers and technical staff to ensure that the projects’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Meet with clients, municipal officials, public, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
- Manage project schedule and budget.
- Manage the process for obtaining approvals from various agencies.
- Write reports and design briefs to document analyses.
- Coordinate presentation and design drawings.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Must be able to manage design teams.
- Must be self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Education and Experience
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical or related engineering field.
- Professional Engineer
- Must have a minimum of 18 years’ experience in engineering analysis and design of industrial water and wastewater systems.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
