Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a Project Coordinator with a strong detail-orientation and demonstrated document preparation skills to provide administrative assistance and support to our Environmental Services practice. Ideal candidates will possess relevant experience and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include processing customer request emails, maintaining regular communication with staff to ensure that client requirements are met, and addressing problems that come up in the field. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serving as office point of contact for staff and subcontractors conducting field surveys
  • Monitoring multiple communications (email/ text/ IM/ phone) from field and office staff to track different activities
  • Reviewing documents to ensure that they meet specific client requirements
  • Communicating survey results to client, construction contractors, and construction contacts
  • Reviewing, processing, and responding to customer work request emails from a shared inbox
  • Updating databases and excel spreadsheets to track and evaluate performance metrics
  • Engagement in the process and willingness to identify process improvements to provide benefit to our client.
  • Complying with all Stantec and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use.

 

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Candidates must pass client background check to access online system (upon employment)
  • High attention to detail is essential to candidate success
  • Proficient in computer software including, MS word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and ability learn new software systems
  • Expertise in MS Excel and/or MS Teams desired, but not necessary
  • Ability to track and complete multiple concurrent requests
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Mindfulness and judgement to elevate issues for environmental concerns and safety issues.
  • Available to work a minimum 30 hours per week
  • Willingness to work when needed, generally between Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., understanding that we will have multiple individuals to fulfill these roles
  • Comply with all Stantec and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use.
  • Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.

 

Education and Experience 

A high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of five to six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

 

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
