Calling - Process Electrical Engineers and Designers - Industrial Water

We are seeking to build a pool of talented individuals over 5 years of experience as a Process Electrical Engineer or Designer, with a mix of technical, project delivery and client services skills within the Industrial Water space. Our people are Stantec’s most valuable resource, and in joining our team you will work with a talented team of professionals on client projects that offer key technology differentiation around process innovations and improvements.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Ability to evaluate, select, specify, and engineer all electrical engineered systems or products for a project.
  • Requisite knowledge, interpretation, and application of the electrical codes and standards.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production.
  • Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule.
  • Participates and collaborates in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
  • Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving problems
  • Thorough understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others.
  • Strong presentation and interview skills.
  • Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
