Your Opportunity

 At Stantec we are seeking individuals with a strong commitment to building deep relationships with their clients in order to help anticipate and manage our organizational talent acquisition needs. Through partnership-based relationships, our Talent Acquisition Strategists (TASs) will work as the strategic advisors and conduits between the business, our HR Client Services group, and the recruitment team to ensure the delivery of world-class talent in a “just in time” manner. We place strong value in providing an exceptional client experience and it is the job of the TAS to make sure that we deliver gold standard client support.
 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition, the TAS will establish, build, and grow client relationships with our Business/Practice Leaders, HR Client Services Advisors, and other key stakeholders, while concurrently serving as a direct link into the Recruitment Operations team.

  • Lead the development and implementation of the strategic Talent Acquisition plans within their global BOU, engaging in conversations related to business unit growth, goals and objectives, hiring needs and internal resource availability.

  • Ensure relevance of talent planning at both a global and regional level, accounting for submitted project proposals, available internal talent, external market data and competitive intelligence.

  • Provide insight, market intelligence and counsel regarding industry activities, organizational and human capital developments, and drivers.

  • Drive outreach activities with 3rd party associations, career fairs, 3rd party opportunities, liaise with D&I, Sourcing & Research and Campus teams to deepen community connectivity in alignment with our organizational goals, by region.

  • Support Strategic Hiring initiatives

  • Facilitate conversations regarding all Talent Acquisition strategic inputs i.e. strategic pipelines, channel and candidate engagement, strategic workforce planning, total rewards, and strategic partnerships etc.

  • Work in collaboration with the Talent Brand Manager, Senior Manager, Recruitment Operations & Manager, Sourcing & Research to support recruitment and/or sourcing activity, categorize/prioritize roles based upon appropriate segmentation and ensure buy-in from the Talent Management Team (Hiring Manager & HRCS Consultant).

  • Collaborate with the Talent Brand Manager, Senior Manager, Recruitment Operations & Manager, Sourcing & Research to develop research plans, target profiles/companies, candidate pipelines, qualifications and competency vetting processes.

  • Maintain personal accountability for client satisfaction and support a superior candidate experience.

  • Act as the key point of escalation for all Talent Acquisition needs flowing to and from the Talent Management Team, exercising independent judgment and in-depth evaluation of variable factors to resolve complex situations and build replicable solutions - disseminating solutions across the entire Talent Acquisition organization.

  • Support the Recruitment process in partnership with Recruitment Operations Manager and through discussions with the Business/Practice Leaders, HR Client Service Advisors, delivering to mutually agreed upon Service Level Partnerships (SLPs).

  • Proactively deliver customized, weekly reporting metrics to Business/Practice Leaders, HR Client Service Advisors with support from the T.A. Analyst & Recruitment Operations team.

  • Support, analyze and disseminate “end of engagement” reporting across Talent Management Team for each closed requisition demonstrating the value-add activities and opportunities for improvement throughout the recruitment process

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • 7 – 10 years of experience within a full-cycle recruitment process environment

  • 6 – 8 years of client relationship management experience

  • Demonstrated experience in: building deep-rooted relationships, data analytics and audits, market intelligence and strategic workforce planning.

  • A strong executive presence, with a deep understanding of how our business functions and the political savvy to negotiate through a complex global organization

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, identifying key messages and deliverables against agreed upon Service Level Partnerships

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency

  • Strong intellectual capacity - a continuous learner, highly analytical, with good conceptual and critical thinking skills

  • Willingness to travel as required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

  • Bilingual candidates considered an asset



Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Travel may be required.
