Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Engagement Consultant. Reporting to the Director, Employee Engagement, this role will work on projects and initiatives that help to measure and drive action around engagement in our organization, including the Global Engagement survey and exit survey, onboarding, and recognition.
This is a role for someone who is passionate about the employee experience and wants to develop their skills as part of a collaborative team. We are doing exciting work in creating a meaningful and impactful employee experience at Stantec.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide consulting support and administration for employee engagement programs, resources, and tools (e.g., engagement metrics and action planning).
- Coordinate and collaborate on engagement programs and projects such as recognition, onboarding, and employee feedback.
- Create and maintain partnerships and connections across our global organization to identify and share best practices across regions that support and enhance the employee experience.
- Provide insight into survey results and leverage data analytics to support the creation and execution of engagement action plans.
- Advise and assist leaders to plan, design, execute, and analyze pulse surveys.
- Design and deliver training on topics related to employee engagement and the connection to Stantec’s overall strategic priorities.
- Facilitate and manage the creation, execution, and follow-up of contracts with external engagement vendors.
- Follow global external business and economic trends. Research and analyze external elements and best practices in employee engagement solutions; working with internal partners to apply to our business, as appropriate.
- Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders on company-wide recognition programs
- Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders on company-wide onboarding programs
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledge and experience with employee engagement principles
- Experience delivering employee engagement surveys and action plans
- Strong training design and presentation skills
- Experience facilitating and leading working groups
- Robust analytical, metrics and reporting background
- Experience with Human Resources policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Able to exercise confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
- Microsoft Office - advanced proficiency with Excel is a requirement
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
